Amin Riyazati wins WPT Australia Outback Survivor Bounty

Amin Riyazata has gone coast-to-coast on Day 2 of the WPT Australia Outback Survivor Bounty, starting with the chip lead and finishing with his second career Tier One title.

It was certainly a rollercoaster ride for the Melburnian, who went into the final table as the short stack, however Riyazati stormed home strong to take a commanding chip lead into heads-up play before defeating Gaurav Sood.

The result saw Riyazata overtake his previous career best, which was a $44,730 payday from the 2019 Crown Poker Championship, and adds to another two five-figure victories this year alone, with Riyazata taking down the APLPT Melbourne Terminator and APT Sydney Cyclone tournaments back in March.

Riyazata will also be amongst the Aussie contingent heading to the WPT World Championship in Las Vegas later this year, having also won a WPT Prime Championship Passport, valued at $6,000.
